The tea gardens are maintained using natural methods without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Cultivation & Craftsmanship
- We practice natural cultivation, using manual weeding and pest control, and select only the first pluck of spring buds.
- The essence lies in the intricate “san chao san men” process: after fixing, the leaves are wrapped to smother, then refixed, and the cycle repeats. This labor-intensive, hands-on craft requires precise control over time and temperature to develop the signature flavor without compromising the leaf’s integrity.
