Our Dongding Oolong is sourced from Lugu Township in Nantou, Taiwan—the heartland of this tea. The high-altitude environment (600-1000m) on Dongding Mountain provides a humid, cloudy climate with abundant diffused light and mineral-rich, acidic sandy loam soil. The tea is cultivated using natural methods without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Cultivation & Craftsmanship
- We employ natural cultivation methods and hand-pick leaves at optimal maturity in spring and autumn.
- The craft focuses on precise oxidation (“Zuo Qing”) to develop the complex aroma, followed by a light-medium roast. This careful roasting removes astringency and rounds out the flavor without overpowering the tea's natural honeyed character inherited from its terroir.
Three Ways to Enjoy

Use 1 sachet per 300ml (10 oz) of water at 205-212°F (96-100°C). Steep for 1-2 minutes to enjoy the evolving honey and floral notes.
